If you have ever thought about learning to fly a hot air balloon but didn't know where to go, then join the Black Horse Flying Club.We have a balloon and everything you need to start flying.The club has BBAC instructors that can help you to get to a standard where you will be able to pass your test and enjoy the wonderful sport of ballooning. |

Welcome to the Black Horse Ballooning Club website |
The Black Horse Ballooning Club has been based around the Black Horse Public House in Great Missenden Buckinghamshire for over 20 years. We have an active membership that includes professional and private pilots, retrieve crews and social members. Over the years the club has organised many flying and social events. In addition to flying in the local area many of the pilots have experience flying further afield such as America, Africa Russia and many European countries. Some have even appeared on national television.We hope you enjoy our website and find it of interest. Please come back again as we will be providing updates on a regular basis.If you would like more information about becoming a member or have any comments or questions please get in touch with us through the 'contact us' page on this site.Social membership is just £10 per year or £15 per year for family membership. Pilots or PUT are £22 per year or £30 per year family membership. Pilot/PUT membership provides access to the weather pages. Family members must all live at the same address.Scheduled club nights are held on the third Thursday of the month, but special events are organised throughout the year. Meet us in the bar from about 8.00pm onwards - just ask behind the bar of the Black Horse Public House, Mobwell, Great Missenden if you cannot see us. If flyable you will find us on the launch site behind the pub - but usually a few hours earlier. |
