Set in the ‘Chiltern Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ the Black Horse is a traditional country pub offering a warm welcome and a good selection of beers and home cooked meals. 

We are situated at the edge of the village of Great Missenden and have a large garden that includes a play-area for children while their parents relax. On suitable evenings you will be able to watch hot-air balloons taking off from the adjacent field.

Our menu of typical home cooked food starts with sandwiches and baguettes, through burgers and omelettes to main meals and grills. We have a “specials-board” and a children’s menu as well as offering a traditional Sunday Roast
